Oshkosh Corp. CEO Wilson R. Jones has volunteered to take a temporary 25% cut in salary “in response to economic impacts on the company related to the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic.”

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission dated Tuesday, the company said that other executive officers will be taking cuts of at least 15% and that outside directors will cut their fees by 25%.

“The company is implementing additional cost reductions including furloughs [and] salary reductions and limiting travel, project cost and other discretionary spending,” Oshkosh said.

According to SEC filings, Jones earned $1.1 million in salary in fiscal 2019, which ended Sept. 30.

His total compensation was more than $10 million, factoring in stock and option awards as well as other performance incentives.

At the end of this fiscal year, the old compensation levels will be reinstated, the company said.

The number of positive test results in Winnebago County remains at 23, the Health Department said Monday.

The county's breakdown of patients by age and gender shows that seven of the patients are in their 50s. Four are in their 60s, and four in their 40s. Three are in their 70s and three their 30s. One is between 20 and 29, and one is over 80.

Thirteen are male, and 10 female.

The county said the count does not include data from the city of Menasha or the city of Appleton, which both extend into other jurisdictions.

Separately the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported a statewide increase of 138 cases to a total of 2,578. A total of 92 Wisconsin residents have died from COVID-19 as of Tuesday afternoon, an increase of 15 from the day before.
